My future/dream kitchen looked exactly like this except that I want cabinet doors (with windows) and that the countertop was a pale grey (or bluegrey) marble. I never imagined a black countertop. If someone brought it up, I would have thought it would have been too contrasting, but now that I see this. I love it. scratching off the grey marble and replacing it with some black marble or whatever this is.
I like this makeshift mudroom. In my future I see a reason to have a mudroom.
